Madonna Splits From Her Muslim Toyboy, 24, After 'Rows About Religion'

Wow! Madonna looks amazing and at least 15 years younger than her real age of 52. Most people do not blink an eye when girls my age date much older men so why can't single, older women do the same? I think the double standard is tiresome.

I used to think it was creepy but now I’ve changed my mind after seeing some of my very happy older girlfriends in love with younger guys. I say as long as he is of legal age then Madonna can have her cake and eat it too!

I dedicate this post to my favorite Cougar: BG

Thank you for always being there for me like a second Mom and for keeping me out of trouble. (Most of the time ;)

It's a Gorgeous Morning in Kuwait and I'm Doing Laundry

The Fantasy

Good morning Kuwait :* :* :* Today I am forcing myself to wash clothes because I have piles of dirty laundry that need immediate attention. I'm looking at the beautiful view of the Arabian Gulf from my apartment window and catching up on this blog. Breakfast this morning consists of American coffee with a piece of left over cheesecake from dinner last night. I'm on my first cup of coffee and the delicious cheesecake is almost gone. I woke up around 0900 hrs and decided to get a lot of stuff done around the house this morning and blog in between. I'm just going to post about a little of this and a little of that.

I spoke to my Father late last night after dinner and he is doing really well. He had a small surgery and it was very successful. Thank you God for taking care of my Daddy. My Mother is nursing him back to health and she said he had just taken a pain pill before I called. They had me on speaker phone and we laughed and laughed. I'm lucky that I have such loving parents and I can tell them ‘almost’ anything.

I'm not that superstitious but a few weeks ago a black cat ran in front of my car. I had a little bad luck surrounded by mostly good luck so I guess I can't complain. Yesterday before work I was starting up my vehicle and guess what animal was pooping in front of my car? Yep, another stray black cat. What does this mean besides...disgusting! Maybe it's good luck?

Yesterday was a gorgeous day as well. I literally drove all over Kuwait for my job in safety and that included the desert past Jahra. It was pretty windy so the sand blew a little but thanks to the rain we had it wasn't too bad. After work I went straight to the salon for my weekly deep conditioning treatment and massage. Kuwait weather is not good for my long hair so the treatments work wonders to keep it soft and shiny. Before I took my profile photo I cut some of my hair off for spring/summer so it wouldn't be too long. It's still long so my Hayati didn't pout.

I love my hair stylist and she has the sweetest disposition. With my busy as hell schedule she stays late just for me and takes her time. The salon is very far from my apartment and the prices are extremely high but I would never go anywhere else. Last night she was upset about her staff and complained the entire time. I don't mind if she shares with me a little but I think she forgets that I am a customer. I have enough stress at work and the salon is where I really go to unwind and relax.

After my hair was done I quickly drove home to get ready for dinner with him. The traffic wasn't too bad once I reached 30 and the cars that were flashing and car hugging gave up long before I reached home. (Mentioned for my favorite American Cougar ;) I looked at your website after not seeing it for a very long time and it looks amazing!)  I ran upstairs and dumped my bags on the chair, tinkled, brushed my teeth, applied some of the MAC Wonder Woman cosmetics I purchased and ran outside. In the elevator I realized I forgot to put on my jewelry. I ran back upstairs and opened the safe and picked out a few things that he bought me. My favorite thing he surprised me with at Christmas never keeps the time or date. If you don't wear it every day then its way off and you have to set it again. I usually put it on and wear it with the wrong time and date. He wants me to wear it every day and enjoy it but I'm afraid the gold will scratch and the diamonds will fall out. The warranty is for two years but I'm sure it doesn't cover everything.  He said he would just buy me a new one if it's broken beyond repair and I believe him. ;) Still, I want to keep it for weekends only and special occasions.

Dinner was great because we were too excited to see each other after suffering from a busy week. He wants to meet every night when he doesn't have to work late. I just don't have the time and I wake up earlier than he does. I keep teasing him that he needs to go to dewaniya like a normal Kuwaiti guy but he isn't typical by any means. He was in an excellent mood and I was wide awake. I asked him if he liked my eye makeup and he frowned. "Why are you wearing makeup when you don't need it?" (Yes, I do with my pale winter skin but you are blinded by love!) I want to wear the new MAC colors and dinner with him isn't just a lip gloss occasion.

I told him it's the MAC Wonder Woman collection and he laughed at me. We had such a terrific time until he brought up marriage and wanting to start a family. I feel very guilty for continuing to be indecisive.  I'm sure about him but not about spending my life here forever so far from my family.  I always thought I would return to American to start a family.  I pray that I don't lose him.  I just wish we could stay like we are for a while longer and not get pressured into following what society tells us we should do.  He could tell by my silence that what he said hurt me.  I could tell I hurt him too and we started talking about his work again.

I’m shocked and very sad to hear that Watiniya Airways has closed down. I loved flying with them to Dubai and Bahrain. Their Canadian flight attendants were awesome and so was their first class service. (Minus the missing alcohol.) Before I met him, they used to send a sports car to pick me from my house and take me home which was included in the price. The terminal and lounge was very comfortable but I did miss the main terminal shopping. Kuwaiti customs was extremely relaxed and friendly at their private terminal. And that’s all I can write about that…;P

Farewell Wataniya and I hope you will be able to return again soon. I want to wish all of my readers a lovely weekend with their friends and family.

xoxo E&TC

Woo Hoo! I Have American Cougars Following My Blog!

Warning! You should have a good sense of humor before reading this post.  ;P

Definition of Cougar - a woman, 40 years of age or older, who pursues younger men, typically more than eight years her junior.

Expat and the City is proud to announce that we have ‘American Cougars’ following our blog in Kuwait.  They do not comment on the blog but instead check the daily blog comments for their prey (unsuspecting, young, Kuwaiti, male bloggers). They want to hunt and Expat and the City is happy to help them out.  But why don't you comment on this blog sometimes? Don't make us jealous...:( I mean you visit our blog daily and we want to hear from you.  Boo hoo *sniffles*

These older, confident, American women rock because they have changed the rules for women and dating for generations to come.  Before only older men were the ones that could date younger women. (Not fair!) Now that has all changed and women are dating men sometimes decades younger.  Thank you ladies!

I can't date anyone younger because they wouldn't be legal, and I would be in jail, looool.  Since I'm in my early twenties I prefer dating men my age or maximum ten years older.  Who knows what will happen when I'm older and full of Botox.  I might be on the prowl for some young, fresh meat.  ;P Just teasing but at least there are more options for older women and I am cheering them on.

And for my ‘American Cougar's’ living in Kuwait (you know who you are hot mamas) that hunt young, Kuwaiti guys on this blog so you can comment on their blogs and get your flirt on....Go Girls! You are a real inspiration to us baby, future Cougars.  We are proud of you for changing the rules. :D  Just don't break a hip! Just teasing. ;P

*** Guys, if you want to volunteer as prey, just comment here so the Cougar can hunt you down.  I'm just a little Kitty *meows* so I will leave you to the professional, older women who will tear your flesh to pieces.  At least you will die happy. ;P

This post was written with wacky humor and no animals were harmed during the writing of this post.

Bring on the Cougars!

My Personal Opinion...

You Go Girls! It's only fair! Older men have been robbing the cradle forever. There is a real Cougar Movement in the US and I'm behind these older women all the way. I would like to think that when I'm ancient I could score a hot toy boy. Loool. If I'm married and many years later my husband leaves me for a sweet, young thing....why can't I be a cougar? I just might and it's good to know there are options like never before for these women. I just wanted to have a little fun with this article.

What is a Cougar?

A cougar is a woman, 40 years of age or older, who pursues younger men, typically more than ten years her junior. The origin of the word is debated; however, it is thought to have first appeared in print on the Canadian dating website Cougardate.com and has been used in TV series, advertising and film. The 2007 film Cougar Club was dedicated to the subject and in Spring 2009 TV Land aired a reality show called The Cougar. The sitcom Cougar Town explores the difficulty and stigma of many so-called "Cougars".

The Most Famous Cougars:

Mariah Carry, Demi Moore, Katie Couric, Sharon Stone, Jennifer Annistan, Paula Abdul, Terri Hatcher, Kim Cattrall, Halle Berry, Sheryl Crow and Madonna.

1st part of article:
It can seem like it's your mom's job to mortify you. But a new wave of moms is doing more than making you blush: They act so sexy and flirtatious, they make you question their judgment — and your own sanity.

By Dan Koday

When Bri, 16, started high school, she thought it was cool that her mom was so much fun to hang out with. "My parents got divorced when I was 6, but high school is when it actually started to seem like a good thing — I was grateful to have a mom who wanted to shop at the same places and see the same movies I was into," she says. "I felt like we suddenly had so much in common, and I could tell her anything and she'd understand." But after a few months of sharing clothes and gossip, things started to take a turn for the worse: Bri's mom went from shopping at the same stores as Bri did…to flirting with the same guys. "Now I can't go anywhere without her flirting with every guy she meets. One of her recent boyfriends was 23. After that, she started going to my brother's hockey games to flirt with his coach — who's 12 years younger than she is — and they started dating." Bri says she wishes her mom would change — but not because it embarrasses her in front of her friends. "The truth is that my friends think my mom is so cool and pretty, and my guy friends think she's sexy. My ex-boyfriend used to joke about getting with her! But I don't want my crushes crushing on my mom. I feel like I have to keep her away from my new boyfriend to keep him from paying more attention to her than to me."

Bri's mom is the perfect example of a cougar: an older woman who's into (and almost seems to hunt down!) way younger guys. Lots of girls say their moms are on a cougar kick too: Meghan, 17, says her 46-year-old mom dated the same guy who'd dated one of her 18-year-old friends; Hunter, 18, sometimes feels as if her friends like her cougar mom more than they like her; and Jessica, 16, reports that ever since her parents got divorced last year, her mom "dresses up in short skirts and dates guys who are barely 25, then tells me everything about her sex life. It's so awkward." The truth is that you want to be open with your mom — but it feels unsettling if she's that open with you.

Cougar Nation

Of course, not all cougar moms — in real life or in Hollywood — have completely crossed the line. Take Courteney Cox's character, Jules, on Cougar Town: She's the kind of mom who, like so many out there, get out of a bad marriage and just want to look and feel their best. Maybe the cougar mom you know got married young and never had a chance to date around. Or maybe since her kids are busy with school and their own social lives and don't need her as much anymore, she needs something to fill her time. All that freedom also explains why she has more time to take care of herself — shopping, working out, Botoxing…whatever it takes to look and feel young. "My mom had me at a young age and had to step up to the plate and take care of me. Now that I'm older, my mom loves to party, shop, and date, and I don't have a problem with it," says De'Junique, 17. "It's nice to have a mom who's young and outgoing. I call her my Triple Threat — she's a mom, a best friend, and like a sister. I can tell her anything, and even my friends tell her personal stuff."

Wild Cougars

Still, girls who are cool with cougar moms are the exception: The majority of girls who shared their stories with Seventeen wished their moms would change their embarrassing ways. Take Erica, 17. After her parents split up two years ago, her mom dyed her hair blonde and started wearing clothes "so tight they could be mistaken for a second skin." But that wasn't as traumatizing as what she says her mom started doing next: partying all night at clubs and sometimes not even coming home. After a few months, Erica says her mom even drained Erica's college tuition money to buy herself breast implants. "One night, a friend called to tell me she saw my mom leave a club with some guy," Erica says. "Hours after the call, my mom still wasn't home, so I made my dad drive around town with me to look for her — I was worried she could be hurt or in an accident." When Erica arrived at the club to look for her mom, she found her — in a car, hooking up with a guy who'd recently graduated from Erica's high school! "I was so humiliated and angry. I shouldn't have to be a 17-year-old babysitting a 40-year-old woman. It's not cool at all to have a cougar mom. I feel totally robbed of being a teenager."

Cougar Women? Older Women Should Ignore The Age Gap And Have Fun

By Ted Burgess

I have recently encountered the words 'Cougar Women' - a term dreamt up by some male or possibly jealous young female to describe an older woman engaged in a relationship with a younger man. The description 'Cougar Woman' infers a predatory mature woman (40-50+) who hunts, stalks, lusts after and imposes her attentions upon some innocent, inexperienced young male.

The traditional description for the older male who does likewise is, 'Sugar Daddy' -- Would it not be appropriate, in light of today's touted 'equality of the sexes' to apply the description of Panther Daddy? Or, where the male is a cheating spouse, then perhaps 'Cheetah Daddy' may fit the bill? Who knows, if enough people around the world pick up on these descriptions then such terms might ultimately become a part of the English language.

We all know that in most cultures throughout history (even today) untold numbers of innocent, naive and inexperienced young women have being forced into unsuitable marriages. The financial, social or political benefits from such actions pass generally to males.

Today however (certainly within the western world cultures) the majority of younger male or females involved in relationships with 'Cougar Women' or 'Panther Daddies' are, far from innocent, naive or inexperienced. They are educated and understand that a 'consideration' or 'benefit' forms the part of any contract. Who's to criticise such liaisons where the partners have a clear understanding and appreciation of the terms of engagement? Certainly -- Not this writer. Under the assumption that we all enjoy but one lifetime, then we should live our lives to the full but with the proviso that in doing so we make every effort to avoid hurt to others.

The younger parties in such relationships can gain many benefits that they may not (perhaps due to social position) normally be able to attain in life. The older party will certainly enjoy the boost to their ego and, no doubt the sexual fun and games that will form a major feature of the relationship.

The Cougar Woman and Panther Daddy relationships are but one aspect of the 'Relationship Age Gap' equation. Statistics indicate that 'Older woman - younger man' relationships have increased substantially throughout that past sixty odd years and that great numbers of such relationships are successful and lasting based upon true and solid love connections.

Thanks to technology, health and beauty facilities of the past 60 odd years there is no reason why older woman should suffer the aging process experienced by their hard working great and great-great grand mothers.

So, this now brings me to this word 'Mature'. As I look around at the excellent physical conditions of some of the older ladies that I know, then the word mature should apply more to the 65 plus age range. An old friend of late, at age 60, had the physique and facial looks of a 35-40 year old. Add to that her 'Leo sign' personality and she attracted (sometimes unwanted) the attentions of males as young as 20. In fact she was pestered for dates by a sane, good looking 22 year-old male and although it was of much concern to her 30 year-old son, it was apparent that the lady in question was somewhat thrilled at the attention and, lets be frank about it. What woman wouldn't be?

I once read a biological article that claimed that the female sexuality peeked at the 35-40 age ranges and the male in early twenties. I would attach some credence to that claim based partly upon personal experience and, after reading the draft scripts of a book written by an acquaintance (Peter) based on his 'Older Woman-Younger man' experiences. He comments that 'where terms of the relationship are understood from the outset (pleasure affair, not a love affair) where the partners experience a powerful mutual instant attraction both physically and mentally, hold strong respect for each other and, perhaps above all, enjoy an unfettered ability to communicate without embarrassment, then such a relationship can develop into an exciting, pleasurable and memorable life experience for both'.

Thank goodness society has changed. Today the older woman, younger man relationship would pass unnoticed. Some 40 years back however, discovery of the relationship would have resulted in the older woman being condemned and ostracized without mercy by society and, principally by her own sisterhood.

So, to the slightly older girls out there ignore the silly terms 'cougar' or 'mature' - if you fancy him, he fancies you and you get on well, then go for it. Doesn't matter if he's younger -- you will both probably have a whale of a time both in and out of the sack? That's the advice of an older gentleman who now unfortunately, is too old to attract a chick and to young to tolerate a geriatric.
