Letters to Juliet is a sweet, romantic movie that I just finished watching. The acting isn't spectacular but I enjoyed the movie. It's filmed in Italy and the scenery is gorgeous. :)
Plot summary: An American girl (Amanda Seyfried) on vacation in Italy finds an unanswered "letter to Juliet" -- one of thousands of missives left at the fictional lover's Verona courtyard, which are typically answered by a the "secretaries of Juliet" -- and she goes on a quest to find the lovers referenced in the letter. The letter was never answered because it was hidden behind a rock for many years. She is engaged but her fiancé is too busy to spend any time with her during their romantic trip to Italy. Along the way she finds true love while giving a lovely, older lady (Vanessa Redgrave) a second chance at her lost, true love.
