Why am I in such a state of extreme happiness? Something has changed inside of me over the past few weeks and I feel it from the top of my head down to my little toes. I am really grateful for one of life’s big lessons and I will never forget it. I will try my best to stop taking life for granted. I'm happy to be alive and feel well again. I'm so grateful to my loved ones for all of their support and prayers.
To my team of fabulous doctors who took extra special care of me and helped me as much as they could. Who knew Kuwaiti and Egyptian doctors could be so caring and concerned for their patients. Several doctors offered me their personal cell numbers in case I needed them night or day. Two doctors said they would come to me if I needed them. In case I had an emergency at home. I can't imagine that would happen in the US. Not a chance.
A special thank you to my readers who always sent me sweet and encouraging comments. You made me smile when I was scared and feeling really down. When you are young you think that certain things only happen to other people. Then it happens to you and you’re blindsided. All of my tests came up clear. Now I know I have a second chance and I'm not going to waste it. I'm so happy to be healthy and almost back to normal. Thanks most of all to God.
Okay, enough of my previous Drama Queen posts from when I wasn't feeling well. Now for some blah blah...
Lately I've had a craving for Cheese Puffs. I can't get enough of them. In fact I'm chowing down on a bag right now called Jumbo Corn Curls. I've tried four different kinds in Kuwait after P took me to the Sultan Center. They are all so yummy! I'm washing them down with Apple Juice and this salt free water I found called Ultra ~ Salts Free Water. It's from Jordan and tastes pretty good. I try to drink as much water as possible. Water is the most important part of my beauty routine.
I love my new hair color but after the first wash it really faded. A few more washes and I think my life as a brunette will be finished. Mr. Hockey likes my new look but said he would kill me if I cut my long hair or colored it red. Red...hmmmm that’s a good idea. I might try that next. He will get over it. :) It's not like I'm going to cut off all of my hair and then get horrible extensions like Britney. Just say NO to extensions. Yikes! They almost never look natural on WG’s.
I've made a list of all the restaurants I want to try in Kuwait now that I'm feeling like myself again. Thanks to all the terrific blogs out there that recommends where to eat in Kuwait and what to order. There are so many new places that look fabulous. I can't wait to eat all of that good food. I'm starting my food journey today!
Nerves....yes, I'm a little bit nervous about starting my new job. I hope all goes well and that I can live up to their expectations. Since I had to cancel my vacation I am planning a weekend solo trip soon. First I have to go to the UAE. Then I will go on a trip just for me. I don't know how I'm going to explain that to Mr. Hockey but sometimes a girl just needs some time to herself in another country. I like to travel alone because you can do anything you want anytime you want to do it. I usually hire a guide with a private car for safety and comfort. I haven't decided where to go yet but I'm thinking Lebanon or Cyprus.
I wish everyone a fantastic week! Muwah! :*
