Loving Six Senses Spa at the Missoni Hotel in Kuwait

The Missoni Hotel's pool was closed for the entire month of Ramadan.

You have to walk outside by the pool to get to the Six Senses Spa.

I really wanted to swim inside their giant pool but inshallah I will get to soon.

The front door to Six Senses Spa. With the pool to the left and some sort of statue (I don't remember) reflecting in the window to the right.

My treatment room where I had an 80 minute De-Stress Massage - 40 KD
Followed by a Purifying/Soothing Facial - 45 KD

This is where you relax and wait for your therapist while drinking their special Six Senses water.

The spa is very quiet and they take extra special care of you.

Even the ceiling has heavenly stars that create a calm atmosphere.

The spa attendant waited with me while my therapists were arranging my room.

The weekend before last I decided to stay at the Missoni Hotel with some of my friends.  Due to a particular law here we ran into a little difficulty.  Thanks to my friend R and M everything worked out just fine.  Thank you ladies!

We wanted to try out the Six Senses Spa and experience their hotel.  The pool was closed for Ramadan but the spa was open the entire day.  I didn’t go there to review the hotel but I wanted to post about my positive experience staying there.  I’m sorry about the poor quality of the cell phone shots but I was too busy enjoying my time to worry about carrying my camera.

When you first arrive to the second floor of the hotel, take a left and walk outside the door to the pool area.  You will see the Six Senses entrance door.  Once you walk inside their staff is waiting to greet you.  If you are a first time visitor they will ask you to fill out some forms.  I was given a cup of their special water while I began to relax.

The spa attendant will walk you to the ladies area where she will give you a tour of their facilities. After changing into your robe you sit and wait on their plush sofa for your therapist to arrive.  Minutes later you are escorted to your room and then the Princess treatment begins.

After the two treatments I returned to my suite to shower and lay down in their amazing bed.  That night we ate at Luna’s on the 18th floor and planned our next stay.  I loved the spa and plan on making the Six Senses a permanent fixture on my calendar.
