Corrupt Government Official Falls Into Own Trap, Tries to Kill Himself
Arab Times, Kuwait City, April 12, 2011: The Assistant Undersecretary of a service ministry who tried in vain to end his life by consuming a large dose of tranquilizers has been hospitalized, reports Al-Shahed daily.
This happened when his first wife allegedly barged into his office and threatened to spill the beans in front of his employees. She also threatened to filed a case with the Public Prosecution and disclose how he has accumulated huge wealth in an illegal manner in violation of the law.
The daily added the first wife became furious when she discovered her husband was married a second time to an American woman and that he had two children from her. She also discovered he had obtained the US citizenship.
The daily added according to his first wife, the American ‘woman’ is running the man’s many businesses.
