I love living in Kuwait but here are a few things I miss the most about my beloved country...
1. FREEDOM ~ the freedom to write what I want to in my blog. The freedom to love and be loved wherever and whenever. The freedom to drink a cold beer while watching the World Cup and American Football at my favorite pub. The freedom to dress in summer attire. The freedom to swim in a bikini on a public beach. The freedom to dance at a club. The freedom to drive and shop alone without constant harassment. The freedom to change companies without needing any help from my Wasta.
2. My family ~ words cannot express how I miss them every day. I can't wait to hold the latest addition in my arms for the first time.
3. My dogs ~ Running down the beach while they chase me just so they can give me puppy kisses all over my face.
4. My friends ~ Undying support and years of laughter.
5. My house ~ Swimming naked in my private pool and barbeque's with family and friends. (Not living with a roommate.)
6. My parent's house ~ Drinking coffee in the early morning on the pier with my parents in their front yard. The most gorgeous view of river with dancing dolphins, shimmering manatees and jumping Tarpons.

7. My Father and Brother's boats ~ Going as fast as I can on the endless Gulf of Mexico. Taking a two week trip across the Gulf as a family.
Dad on the boat in St. Pete ~ he has like 100 ice chests
8. Lush greenery and swaying Palm trees
9. Fast and Furious Thunderstorms ~ kissing in the cold, clean rain after drinking too much Dom Pérignon champagne.
10. Publics grocery store, Wal-Mart and Sams ~ Unlimited supply of what I am interested in buying for my kitchen and home.
11. TJ Max and Marshall's home and kitchen department
12. Seeing babies safely sleeping in their car seats
13. A real American breakfast at the local fisherman's diner ~ pork sausage, veggie omelet, hot, buttered biscuits, pancakes dripping with Maple syrup.
14. Weekend trips with the girls to Destin and Palm Beach, FL., New Orleans, New York City and Austin, TX.
15. Hanging out with my gorgeous brother and reminiscing about the past. Cooking Grandmother's secret recipes with my beautiful sister.
16. Christmas morning at Mom and Dad's ~ Dad still pulls out our Christmas wish lists to Santa from when we were little and it's hilarious. (Spoiled rotten doesn't even begin to cover it!)
Christmas time at my parents house
17. Young, handsome, American, manly men over 6' tall that are gentlemen, well traveled and highly educated. (Why can't some of you work in Kuwait?)
18. Ms. "I" ~ Our nanny and housekeeper who helped raise me since I was twelve. "I" is the best cook in the world! She is a breast cancer survivor and my hero.
19. Respect (most of the time) for what I know instead of who I know and how I look.
20. Movie theaters ~ the freedom to see any movie I want from start to finish without any adult content cuts.
21. High-speed Internet ~ it sucks in Kuwait! I pay monthly over $100 for my laptop / $55 for my BlackBerry. Don't get me started on the blocked websites. (Freedom anyone?)
22. Cell Phone Plans ~ Both International and local. It's so expensive in Kuwait. I spend a small fortune monthly on my phone and internet.
