"Lay Back and Be Cool" comes from the season 2 episode "Feelings" where it was performed hy Gene Anthony Ray.
Written by Enid Levine in 1982 she also recorded on her album "Take This Show On The Road".

Enid Levine also released an album in 1983 featuring the 2 other songs she wrote for Fame: "Hi Fidelity" and "Be your Own Hero". Sadly I've not been able to track these songs down. If anyone has any information about these songs then please contact me.
