You can only watch so many movies, listen to so much music, BBM, talk on the telephone, search the Internet, blog, read and order from so many restaurants before you go a little crazy! I have been stuck in my house for almost a week. My only daily outing is back and forth to the hospital. Then there is the occasional stop for takeout on the way home with my lifesaver and friend. This sucks and I'm just a big baby. I know there are so many people that are much worse off than me but I just feel like having a pity party for one today. I want my Mom and Dad. I want my dogs. I'm checking out tickets now in case I have to fly home to America. I am truly blessed that my soon to be new company is 100% behind me.
My team of doctors (yes it's a team now) decided to put me through 48 hours of Hell and I can barely sleep. At least I can eat but I've run out of ideas.
Can anyone please suggest somewhere to eat that will deliver to the Ghetto Mahboula?
(My taste buds are bored with American restaurants, Indian, Japanese, Lebanese and Seafood. I'm craving something different.) I miss living in the good area of Kuwait where there is an endless spread of mouthwatering restaurants for home delivery and very few Americans. I checked out the Internet home delivery company but nothing thrilled me on their list for this area. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. I've already lost over eleven pounds so I need to eat well or I'm in danger of losing me T&A.
Movie review:
Sex and the City 2 ~ Disappointment doesn't even begin to cover it! I love the show; the first movie had its moments. 2 just blew!!! It was terrible!
The Runaways ~ I had such high hopes but the movie failed to capture my interest. It's still a cool, true story so I'm glad I saw it.
Looking on the positive side:
Some of my closest friends arrive back in Kuwait tomorrow. That will certainly lift my spirits and I can't wait.
A BIG Thank You:
Thank you to all the blog writers out there that have kept me informed and entertained while I'm trapped inside. I've read a lot of your posts lately. "Me likey" on the right side of my blog is full of all of my favorite sites to read. Make sure you click "show all" to see every blog. I know there are some blogs that are not on my list. I will update my blog picks very soon.
A BIG Shout Out to Desert Girl. She is the author of my favorite blog Desert Girl on Kuwait and I've spent many sleepless nights reading her excellent / hilarious posts. Thanks DG!
And for my readers:
Thank you for your lovely comments! Especially Mo Mo and Ali who keep me smiling. Mo Mo who always knows just what to say to make me feel better. Ali who helps me out when I have a "Blonde Moment" on one of my posts. Oh, I can't leave out Brownsugar who will get an ass kickin' when I feel better.
