Burnt biscuits
How hard could it be? I mean the sausage was packaged and precooked. The directions said all I had to do was brown it for a few minutes in a pan. The biscuits...packaged and frozen. All I had to do was heat up the oven and cook them for so many minutes. It looked easy this morning but then again Mrs. "I" always said I would never win a man over with my cooking. Darn it!!! I'm so mad at myself. :( Uh!!! The disappointment!
Some of the other blogs post lovely pictures of their cooking masterpieces. I guess it's just not in the cards for me. I used to think it was cute and not a big deal about my lack of cooking skills. Now that I'm on my own it stinks! I'm still going to keep on trying and never give up. Even if I burn my house down. This isn’t funny because I’ve come close a few times. I have the Kuwaiti emergency number on speed dial.
I love to cook and I love to eat! I can bake certain things really well. There are a few things I can actually cook well if I don't get distracted! The thing is that I can't cook most things very well. It's hard to admit but I actually suck at cooking most things. I suck BIG time! Thank goodness almost every restaurant in Kuwait delivers to your front door. If this weren’t the case I would have starved by now!
